"Аԥсуа кәашара"
Here are some tips that can help you to learn to dance:
  • 1
Before training, it is recommended to do a few simple warm-ups that will reduce the likelihood of sprains.
  • 2
Choose comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement, and soft shoes with flat soles.
  • 3
Listen to music - the better you feel the rhythm, the more expressive your movements will be.
  • 4
Regularity is the key to success. Find some time for training and repeat the movements until they become automatic.
The "аԥсуаҵас" movement.

Let's start with the arms. Raise them to shoulder level. The arms are taken to the side. The thumb of the hand is located inside. The middle finger is below the index and ring finger and the little finger is slightly higher. The inner side of the palm turns up. Move the right hand in front of you. Turn the palms and take the hand back. Add movement with the body, which works in parallel with the arms.
The starting position of the legs, the sixth position. Low, moderate middle half-finger, knees in a slightly relaxed form - we begin the movement with the right leg. The right leg rises on "and", slightly lifting off the floor. The left one comes out in place on "one and", while maintaining amortization in the movement. Repeat until the turn to "seven" and "eight".
This movement is one of the variations of "аԥсуаҵас".
It is called "lower" or "princely". We start the movement with the right hand. Its peculiarity is that the legs and arms are involved simultaneously. We add the body; it moves parallel to the arms.
The peculiarity of "аԥсуаҵас" is that the legs and arms are involved simultaneously. Let's move on to the legs. On the count of "and", the right leg is brought forward in a straight position. Then, bending at the knee, it is closed back with a small jump on the count of "one". Next, stepping onto the other leg, we repeat the movement with the left leg. When turning, a triple step-over is performed on a low half-toe. Important! When moving the leg, the toe should be extended, and the back straight.
Wedding movement.

The starting position of the legs, the sixth position. We add a slight half-squat. On "and", we open the right leg forward. On "one", we return it to its place, stepping onto the left leg. The starting position is hands on the waist, fingers tucked, elbows forward. The position of the hands does not change at the initial stage. It can change later.
Heel movement.

It is performed on a light half-squat without straightening the supporting leg until the end of the movement. Hands on the waist. On "one" the right leg comes forward on the heel. On "two" we put it on the toe. We do not move the knee far. Then the right leg returns to its place and the left leg comes forward. We add a light jump to this. There are different versions of this movement in Abkhazian choreography.
There are different versions of the heel movement in Abkhazian choreography. Let's look at one of them. The initial position of the legs, the sixth position. We start with the right leg, work diagonally. On "one" the heel of the right leg comes forward. On "two" we put it on the toe. On the third count we rise to the high half-toe and turn in the opposite direction. On the fourth count we put the leg in the sixth position. We repeat the same with the left leg.

"Aԥсуаҵас ".

Raise your arms to shoulder level in the second position. The hand is clenched into a fist with the back side up. On each count, the hands are alternately closed at chest level, bending at the elbow.
When the right hand is in front, the left is behind the back. At the same time, when bending, the arms should not be pressed to the body.
