Over the past week, 53 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Abkhazia. 553 people passed the COVID-19 test.  This was announced by the Operational Headquarters for the protection of the population from coronavirus infection.

According to the Operational Headquarters, at the moment, there are 14 patients with confirmed coronavirus infection in the Gudauta Central District Hospital, of which three are moderately severe, one is severe. 5 were discharged in a week. 

“The total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 242 people.  92 of them recovered and three patients died, ” Operational HQ  reports.

The Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from coronavirus infection calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to take all necessary precautions to avoid infection.

The Operational Headquarters for the protection of the population from coronavirus infection also said that hotline numbers operate in Abkhazia, where you can get the necessary information about COVID-19 and consult a specialist.

Residents and guests of Sukhum can call 995-02-07 and 935-30-71, Ochamchira 925-10-09, Tkuarchal 925-10-03, Gal 925-10-07, Gagra 925-10-05, Gudauta 925-10-02, Agudzera 925-10-04.

In the near future, citizens will be able to call a single hotline number 0303 in Sukhum, the issue of connecting a single number throughout the Republic is being worked out.
