The “Mandarin” festival took place in 7 different locations with the “Apsny“ ethnopark as the main one. More than 50 masters presented their works at the fair, master classes and archery tournaments were held for guests.
The program of the massive winter event included active family recreation and educational leisure for young people.
"About three thousand people visited the ethnopark on the opening day alone. The program was interesting and multidirectional. It included concerts, master classes, an exhibition of contemporaries and balloon flights, which won the hearts of every visitor. The next day, a children's program and a dance circle were organized, in which many young people took part. In general, we are pleased and very happy that the festival brought together so many people and received positive feedback, especially the tangerine tree, which became a real center of gravity,” said Svetlana Gabuniia, director of the festival.
Ethnopark, Makhadzhirov Embankment, Marnero Beach, Guma Cultural and Business Platform, Kamany Village – more than 30 interactive activities were organized for visitors in different locations. Festival guests were also able to visit the citrus plantations of the “Sofia” state farm – take part in the harvest, take stunning pictures and, of course, try Abkhazian tangerines.
“There were many more guests than we expected. The program was designed for visitors of any age, so children, young people, and older people came – mostly locals, as well as tourists. Of course, if there is support from various organizations, we would like to give people such a holiday every year, it would be difficult for us to handle that kind of volume on our own. Taking this opportunity, we express our gratitude to all our partners,” noted the festival organizer Sariya Argun.
The organizer of the festival is the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Center for Social and Cultural Projects "ATsLA". The information partner is the World Abaza Congress.
