In 2019, a new structure was created at the WAC - the WAC Office, which was headed by Kan Taniya. Summing up the results of the year, he talked about the work done, and also reported on the financial activities of the Congress.

The Chief of Staff of the World Abaza Congress Kan Taniya summed up the work of the structure, and also told about the financial expenses of the Congress for 2018 and 2019.

Kan Taniya recalled that the WAC Office is a structural unit that provides the organization's statutory activities and the execution of instructions of the Chairman of the WAC Supreme Council within the powers of the Office.  According to Taniya, special attention is paid to the coordination of the work of the Regional and Local offices of the Congress in the Office.

“Of the main tasks of the Office is the preparation of annual Congress action plans, submitting them for approval to the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the WAC and monitoring their implementation, generate annual financial and other reports, preparation of meetings and events with the participation of the Chairman, work with applications of citizens to the Chairman and meeting other challenges in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman,” said the Chief of Staff.

He also talked about what the funds and where they were spent by the WAC in 2018 and 2019. Taniya emphasized that the Congress funding is provided by donations from individuals.

Most of the donations in 2018 and 2019 at the moment came from the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Congress Mussa Ekzekov - 32 million rubles.  Substantial assistance to the organization was also provided by the Head of the Moscow Abkhaz Diaspora, a member of the Supreme Council of the WAC Beslan Agrba - 10 million rubles.  Small amounts in the form of membership dues from members of the Congress also go to the Congress account.

As for expenses, the costs of servicing the work of the Web Information portal for the past period amounted to 11 million 200 thousand rubles, and 8 million 500 thousand rubles were spent on the implementation of social projects.  

The WAC also funded various research programs in the amount of 910 thousand rubles.  Repair of the central office in Sukhum, along with the purchase of furniture and appliances, cost 5 million 600 thousand rubles.  7 million 800 thousand rubles were spent on employees' salaries.  The costs of business and international trips to Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium amounted to 4 million rubles, for information and souvenir products - 625 thousand rubles.
