Over the past week, 145 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Abkhazia. 1287 people passed the COVID-19 test. This was announced by the Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection.
According to the Operational Headquarters, at the moment, there are 52 patients in the Gudauta Central District Hospital, of which 48 people with confirmed coronavirus infection. There are 18 people in serious condition, 20 patients of moderate severity. There are 16 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital, 8 in the Ochamchira Central District Hospital, 5 in the Tkuarchal Central District Hospital, 13 in the Gagra Central District Hospital, and 18 patients in the Russian military hospital.
“The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 12700 people. Of these, 12017 recovered and 195 patients died,” Operational HQ reports.
The Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
