Ekzekov said that the Easter holiday “has a moral sense for Christians around the world.”

“Easter carries in itself the light of faith, fills people's hearts with joy, love, the desire for good. Easter celebrations draw us to the ancestral traditions of the ancestors and contribute to the consolidation in the society of enduring spiritual values,” said Mussa Ekzekov.

He stressed that this holiday reminds of the high purpose of a person to serve others and help sufferers, to reach agreement in homes and families.

“May the bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ bring the joy of spring revival into your life.  Good health, happiness and well-being!”- wished all Christians Mussa Ekzekov.

Easter is the main holiday of Christians.  It glorifies the event that changed the whole history of mankind - the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the God-man.  Christ was born to the Most Pure Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit and came into the world to save people from the slavery of sin, under whose authority they found themselves after the fall of the forefathers Adam and Eve.

Salvation became possible after Christ’s cross sacrifice: the only sinless Man in the history of mankind, who was innocently crucified, took upon himself all the sins of the world and promised those who believed in Him and lived according to His commandments eternal bliss in the Kingdom of Heaven.  Crucifixion and the Death of Christ took place on Friday, He was buried according to Jewish custom, and on the third day, Sunday, the disciples did not find His Body in the Tomb, but He appeared to them risen.  For another 40 days, He was on earth, instructing the disciples who made up His Church and began to preach Christianity throughout the world.
