Over the past week, 161 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Abkhazia. 1468 people passed the COVID-19 test. This was announced by the Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection.
According to the Operational Headquarters, at the moment, there are 34 patients in the Gudauta Central District Hospital, of which 28 people with confirmed coronavirus infection.
There are 8 people in serious condition, 19 patients of moderate severity. There are 10 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital, 4 in the Ochamchira Central District Hospital, 3 in the Tkuarchal Central District Hospital, 11 in the Gagra Central District Hospital
A Russian military hospital has concluded its work this week. President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania expressed gratitude to the personnel of the Russian military hospital for the assistance provided during the most difficult period of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
“The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 12861 people. 202 deaths were registered. 12387 people have recovered,” the HQ informs.
