Over the past week, 406 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Abkhazia. 3400 people passed the COVID-19 test. This was announced by the Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection.
According to the Operational Headquarters, at the moment, there are 109 patients in the Gudauta Central District Hospital, of which 93 people with confirmed coronavirus infection. There are 25 people in serious condition, 51 patients of moderate severity. There are 33 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital, 17 in the Ochamchira Central District Hospital, 7 in the Tkuarchal Central District Hospital, 31 in the Gagra Central District Hospital, and 41 patients in a mobile military hospital.
“The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 11564 people. Of these, 9902 recovered and 178 patients died,” Operational HQ reports.
The Operational Headquarters for the Protection of the Population from Coronavirus Infection calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
