Living craft. Blacksmithing festival

Fire, metal, and centuries-old traditions—a two-day blacksmithing festival took place in the Sukhum Fortress. Guests enjoyed master classes, lectures and a weapons exhibition. Of particular interest was the depiction of an early medieval archer by artist Batal Dzhapua.
In the new episode of "Living Craft," we will go to the festival and show you how a weapon is born — from the first hammer strike to the last one.

Schoolchildren from Tamysh village took part in the WAC project on basic military training

The WAC Local Branches Department conducted another stage of the basic military training project for schoolchildren from the village of Tamysh.

The event consisted of two parts. First, the students visited a military unit in Sukhum, where they were shown various examples of military equipment and received a detailed explanation of the operation of small arms.

The lesson then continued at the shooting club. Here, instructors gave the students a theoretical course, explaining key safety rules and the basics of weapon handling.

The day culminated in a practical session at the training range. Under the close supervision of instructors, each student completed target practice to solidify their acquired knowledge.
