World Abaza Congress held another lecture as part of the "Ирӡтәым" project

The World Abaza Congress, together with Inna Dzhugeliia, a lecturer at the Abkhaz Language Department at Abkhazian State University, continues the "Ирӡтәым" project. The project's goal is to strengthen the value system and enhance young people's knowledge of the culture, history, and spiritual and moral life of Abkhazian people.

The latest lecture was held for second-year students of the Pedagogical Faculty of Abkhazian State University. The discussion focused on the dance art of the peoples of the Caucasus. Asida Gumba, a PhD in history and a researcher in the Ethnology Department at Abkhazian State Institute of Humanities, introduced the students to the history and characteristics of Caucasian dances, and discussed how choreography has changed over time and what were the reasons for these changes.

"Ирӡтәым" is a joint project of the World Abaza Congress and Inna Dzhugeliia, a lecturer at the Abkhaz Language Department at ASU. The project aims to promote the Apsuara moral and ethical code and revive the traditions and customs of the Abaza people.
