WAC continues its project on basic military training for schoolchildren
The WAC Local Branches Department organized another off-site event as part of the project on basic military training. This time, schoolchildren from the village of Khuap took part in the project.
The day's program was intense and included two stages. First, the students visited a military unit in Sukhum, where they learned about the design and types of small arms and various military equipment.
The next stop on the route was a shooting club. Instructors conducted an additional theoretical course on safety and weapons handling rules for the students. Skills were strengthened on the training field, where each student, under the close supervision of instructors, completed practical firing.
World Abaza Congress continues the "Aimadara" project
Department of Local Representative Offices of the World Abaza Congress continues the "Aimadara" project.
Students from Alakhadzy Secondary School No. 1 named after D. V. Chirikbaya attended another excursion day to eastern Abkhazia. The students visited two waterfalls in the village of Akarmara in the Tkuarchal Region and the Dranda Cathedral of the Mother of God.
Traditionally, the day concluded with delicious treats and discussions about students’ impressions.
The "Aimadara" project aims to popularize cultural and historical sites among young people. The organizers are going to continue holding educational tours for children from the republic's villages.
