WAC continues its basic military training project for schoolchildren.
The WAC Department for Work with Local Branches held a field trip as part of its project on basic military training. This time, the participants were high school students from the Dranda Secondary School.
The program consisted of two stages. First, the students visited a military unit in Sukhum, where they learned about the design and types of firearms and studied military equipment. The next stop was a shooting club. Here, instructors conducted a theoretical course, covering safety rules and weapons handling in detail. The students then consolidated their knowledge with practical training - each student completed practice firing on the training field under the supervision of instructors. To further practice their shooting skills, the students received an air rifle as a gift.
The Congress team expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia for its assistance in organizing the tour for students to the command and intelligence center.
